Brusa & Garboli has been engineering and producing special machines also for processing carbon and composite materials.
In particular our TV rod milling machine enables the production of round rods made of carbon, graphite and composite or high-density materials, thanks to special developed tooling on which, instead of the standard steel knives, special tungsten carbide tips are mounted.

Brusa&Garboli is proud to introduce the new automatic line for the production of straight round rods that is consisting of: TT50 double trimming unit to grant the same length on all square blocks and complete with loading system; TV rod milling machine to dowel the square blocks into round straight poles with diameters from 5 to 80 mm; LPC 300 S double head sander with autofeed, to get a high quality surface finishing.
Main advantage of this solution is a better quality product at a cheaper investment level.
Brusa & Garboli is glad to introduce the new version of the milling shaping machine type TS 60 CN with Ethercat remote control system, that in case of need enables the connection with our service department to supply technical assistance and avoid long down times or very expensive costs due to on site travels.
Moreover through this device is also possible the remote insert or modification of working programs, as well as provide a check up on the correct working parameters to grant a trouble free and satisfactory use of the machine.
Brusa & Garboli developed among the decades several types of belt sanding machines for wood finishing and also for sanding other materials, like for instance also cardboard tubes finishing.
In particular our sander type LT200 with automatic feed rollers can process cardboard tubes up to max diameter 200 mm allowing to reach a high productivity as well as a different finish quality of sanding on cardboard tube in accordance to the processing needs.
Brusa & Garboli has been engineering and producing special woodworking machines for manufacturing Thonet chairs components and similar ones.
Wood milling shaping machine TS 60 CN with CN control can produce both front and back shaped wood legs for Thonet type chair, as well as shaped shafts for Thonet backrest, that are subject to further steam bending afterwards.
Wood sander type LT130 with orbital sanding system can sand wood shaped legs, shafts and components for Thonet style chairs or furniture
Beside the traditional line of machines for woodworking, thanks to a technological research it has been possible to develop special tools with specific parameters and cooling devices, that allow us to process the following materials: COMPOSITES like bakelite resin round rods and semifinished bars, thermosetting, insulating, sponge resins. PLASTIC MATERIALS like Nylon round bars and semifinished rods as well as made of Polyamide, PVC, Teflon, Ertalon, Metacrylate, Rubber. GRAPHITE CARBON like round rods and bars for electrodes, furnaces, semifinished products for electricity industry. Our society is available to run milling trials on materials as per above list.
Our threading machine type FIL30 – FIL50 enables to make wooden screws as well as inside and outside threads on wood furniture components, wooden toys and wood fittings.
Pneumatic clamping device can be customized according to dimension and shape of the workpieces or type of thread to be obtained.
This type of wood threading units are suitable to produce external and internal threads up to max 50 mm. size
